1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using InboxKeep ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

InboxKeep is an AI-powered email management application that:

• Categorizes emails using on-device artificial intelligence
• Generates smart reply suggestions based on your writing style
• Extracts action items and deadlines from emails
• Provides focus mode for distraction-free email management
• Helps manage newsletter and promotional email subscriptions

All processing occurs locally on your device. We do not store or process your emails on external servers.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device and Google account credentials
• Ensuring your use of the App complies with applicable laws
• Reviewing and approving any automated actions before execution
• Not using the App for any unlawful or harmful purpose

4. Grant of License

InboxKeep is provided under an open-source license. You may:

• Use the App for personal or commercial purposes
• Modify the source code for your own use
• Distribute copies of the App

These rights are provided subject to the terms of the MIT License under which InboxKeep is released.

5. Authentication

The App uses OAuth 2.0 to authenticate with Gmail. By using the App, you:

• Grant the App permission to read and manage your Gmail
• Grant the App permission to send emails on your behalf (for reply drafts)
• Understand that authentication tokens are stored locally on your device
• May revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings

6. AI-Generated Content

The App uses artificial intelligence to generate suggestions and perform actions. You understand that:

• AI suggestions may not always be accurate or appropriate
• You should review all AI-generated content before acting on it
• The App will not automatically send emails or take actions without your approval
• You are responsible for the final decision on all actions taken

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy of AI-generated content
• Warranties regarding data loss or corruption

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The developers and contributors of InboxKeep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not responsible for any data loss, email mishandling, or unintended actions
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is $0 as it is free)

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developers and contributors of InboxKeep from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these terms.

10. Third-Party Services

The App interacts with third-party services:

• Google Gmail API: Subject to Google's Terms of Service and API Terms
• Android Platform: Subject to Google's Android Terms of Service

Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and conditions.

11. Intellectual Property

InboxKeep is open-source software released under the MIT License. The license terms include:

• Permission to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies
• The above copyright notice and permission notice shall be included in all copies
• THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate your access to the App if you violate these terms. Upon termination:

• All local data will remain on your device until you delete it
• You should revoke Gmail access through your Google Account settings

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
